Han Xing Qiao
Han Xing Qiao 韓星橋 (Cantonese: Hon Sing Kiu), 1909-2004 was a famous martial artist born in Shanghai. Famous for his tutelage under Wang Xiang Zhai (founder of Yi Chuan) and Wu Yi Hui (Liuhebafa), Han propagated the style of Yi Chuan under his own personal branch of the art called Han Family Yi Chuan.
Biography
His martial arts training began from his father Han You Sun, who was an imperial guard. Han You Sun later became a student of Yi Chuan’s founder Wang Xiang Zhai, and later introduced his 2 sons, Han Xing Qiao and Han Xing Yuan, to Wang for training in Yi Chuan.
Han was also recognized for being one of the 4 Diamond Warriors. This was a group of the 4 top fighters of Wang Xiang Zhai in Yi Chuan. These 4 were later instructed to learn Liuhebafa under Wu Yi Hui, the personal friend of Wang. They were: Han Xing Qiao 韓星橋, Zhang Chang Xin 張長信, Zhao Dao Xin 趙道新, and Gao Zhen Dong 高振東.
