Gyanodaya Sarva Mangal Vidya Mandir is located in Khurai City, Madhya Pradesh. It is considered a good school.

Objective

The school is committed to develop and cultivate ability to express & understand English and Hindi, logical thinking, socially acceptable, mannerism, ahinsak, moral value, physical endurance, excellence in art and culture, ability to judge between good and bad and churn out happy individuals.

Location

It is located at the crossing point of Khurai-Bina and Khurai–Khimlasha roads. The premises is in view from trains too. Gyanodaya spreads over of land, out of of total land in possession of S. P. Jain Gurukul trust.

Founder

Gyanodaya was established in 1989 in pence of providing better education as well as competing with Holy Family Convent Sr. Secondary School, Khurai , which was the only English medium school of the city since 1976. The seeds of the kindergarten school were sown by the generous hands of the honorable late Shrimanth Seth, Rishabha Kumar.

Infrastructure

The school possesses of land with a built up area of 4479 square meters and play grounds of 16564.65 square meters. The premises has more than 33 classrooms, 5 rooms for labs, 4 rooms for offices and 3 rooms for other usage. There is a separate kids’ room for play way teaching to the junior most students. The room is designed to comfort the toddlers with a teaching learning process in an interesting way. All play things are available in the room. The school has a high level of sanitary conditions, fire and road safety, safe drinking water facility and it has a well equipped Biology lab, Chemistry lab, Physics lab, Mathematics lab and Computer lab having 20 computers with internet facilities and a huge library with more than 7000 books, 8 periodicals and dailies, over 500 reference books and 18 magazines.

Activities

The multipurpose Nayakan Hall has two badminton courts and room for table tennis, chess, carrom, yoga, sketting, cultural activities and theater with the capacity of about 2000 people. A huge outdoor sports complex adds to the worth of the school. Several curricular and co curricular activities are organized in the school. Sports divisions are formed for physical activities, games and sports. Students actively participate in CBSE sports clusters. Debates, extempore, symposiums, lectures, elocutions, drawing competitions, writing competitions, rakhee and rangoli making competition etc. are organized regularly. Attractive cultural programmes are perform on Kshma Vani and Annual day. Educational trips and Picnics are part of the practical learning.

Scholarships

The school helps the students in acquiring scholarship provided by CBSE and other institutions. Krishi Pandit Shrimant Seth Rishabh Kumar ji Memorial Scholarship is provided by the school president Mr. Dharmendra Seth. Poor boys and merit cum mean the scholarship is provided up to 50% of the development fund by the school in which girls and less privileged classes are given weightage.
