Gurinder Bhatti
Gurinder Bhatti (born 4th October 1982) is an Indian entrepreneur and a motivational speaker for students born in Amritsar, Punjab. He is a founder of ESS Global Pvt. Ltd, and now works as its Chairman and Managing Director headquartered in Chandigarh, India.
In 2002, he started working as managing partner with BCES Private Limited and helped it with its expansion across India. Later in 2007, he founded a study abroad consulting firm Express Student Service also known as ESS Visa in Jalandhar, Punjab where he acted as the director of the company. In June 2011, Gurinder Bhatti founded The English Planet known as TEP in Punjab with over 8 branches across Punjab and acted as its director, which he later re-BRANDed into Brightus Education Pvt. Ltd in 2013.
In the year 2012, Gurinder Bhatti founded GB Foundation a private NGO whose primary aims is to give education and healthcare services for needy citizens in India.
In 2013, he re-branded Express Student Service to ESS Global Pvt.Ltd and expanded its operation in Punjab and opened up 7 branches in Amritsar, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Patiala.
Gurinder Bhatti is one of the young entrepreneurs in Punjab known for his consultation and achievements. In 2015, Gurinder Bhatti founded another company known as Stallion Institute of International Studies (SIIS) in Chandigarh. SIIS had a strategic partnership with Avonmore Tertiary Institute in Christchurch, New Zealand.
In December 2016, Gurinder Bhatti announced in the annual meeting stepping down as the Director of ESS Global Pvt. Ltd and created a position of Chairman and Managing Director for himself. He appointed Mr. Rohit Sethi former Regional Manager as the Director of ESS Global Pvt. Ltd.
In the mid of December 2017, Gurinder Bhatti launched an Online Education Portal by the name of Make Me Study Abroad, a portal that offers complete study abroad solutions to the students.

Gurinder Bhatti had received “Young Entrepreneurs of the Year Award 2014” felicitated by India Today where he was honored by the former Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Parkash Singh Badal.
In 2016, Gurinder Bhatti received “Achievers Award 2016”. By PTC Group, where he was honored by former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Later in 2016, Gurinder Bhatti met with Honorable Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, Australia. Mr. Peter Dutton for Policy Discussion on Emerging New Visa Rules in Australia.
Early Life and Education
Gurinder Bhatti was born on 4th October 1982, in a small town named Jama Rai near Amritsar, Punjab. He is the son of Mr. Joginder Singh Bhatti and Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur Bhatti. He, his younger brother Nav Bhatti and younger sister Ekta Bhatti were brought up in Amritsar, Punjab. His father had a cable operator business in Amritsar, Punjab where he started his first job and worked after his school hours and during holidays assisting in collecting payments from the clients and sometimes laying the cables to expand his father’s business. At the age of 18, he went to the United Kingdom to pursue higher studies, and to fulfill his parent's dream. He used to work in part-time to cover up his living expenses.
From his roommate story, he realized a big opportunity in study abroad consultation market. The cumbersome process of filing an application to study abroad, lack of awareness and people used to take illegal means to go abroad, inspired him to start his business in assisting study abroad aspirants. He decided to make a career out of it and ventured into the business. His parents were against his decision. His fierce determination and self-starter mentality is what made him successful in the Industry.

On August 2007, Gurinder Bhatti founded Express Student Service in Jalandhar, Punjab. Inspired by an early event while he was studying in the United Kingdom. Gurinder Bhatti leads the company and spreads the messages among his employees to be problem solvers and work for passion.
ESS Global Pvt. Ltd initially started assistance for the United Kingdom and later expanded the service of ESS Global Pvt. Ltd to Australia, Canada, Europe and partners with various prestigious universities and colleges in these locations. ESS Global provide knowledge services to students in terms of right course and college/ university selection.
Gurinder Bhatti once stated that Germany is the fast emerging as a popular destination for aspiring engineers.
He is responsible for handling the entire organization, with a major focus on financial planning as well as handling the sales & marketing for the entire group. Gurinder Bhatti is always working to simplifying the study abroad process for students who wish to go abroad for studies.

Personal Life
Gurinder Bhatti is married to Mrs. Navjot Kaur Bhatti and had 2 sons Gurnav and Gurveer. He resides in Amritsar with his family on the holidays and weekends. Gurinder Bhatti manages his day to day activities as per the schedule he maintains. He handles operations for the company and visits all the branches throughout the month. He attends the meetings at ESS Global Pvt. Ltd, head office in Chandigarh and visit his partners and associates in abroad for further partnerships and expansions of ESS Global Pvt. Ltd.
