Guest-tek

Guest-Tek Interactive Entertainment Ltd. is a major provider of IP based technology solutions to the global hospitality industry. In March 2014, the company purchased rival iBAHN—substantially expanding both its global reach and the size of its operations. The company now serves more than 3500 client hotels in 85 countries. The acquisition has also increased Guest-tek's pool of expertise and resources, offering Guest-tek and iBAHN customers a higher level of support than was possible before.

The company's signature OneView platform offers hotels data, video, voice, network design, procurement, implementation, customized UIs, event support, network management and provides post-sales customer support services.

History

The company was founded in 1996 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada as a provider of High Speed Internet Access to North American hotels. At the time Guest-tek sold its Global Suite internet solution to higher end hotels, installing the access points in guest rooms, meeting spaces and other common areas of the hotel property. For Global Suite users Guest-tek provided post-installation technical support including a toll-free, 24 hour phone line. Global Suite has evolved into Guest-tek's trademark OneView platform as the company has expanded their product offerings beyond High Speed Internet.

In 2014 Guest-tek announced the acquisition of their partner TelNet Corporation which paved the way for the provider's OneView Voice iACT Solution. Shortly thereafter the company finalized the acquisition of their rival iBAHN.
