Ben Ferrell
Ben Ferrell (born November 15, 1995 in Trenton, New Jersey) is an American soccer player currently playing for the Evergreen Diplomats of the American Soccer League.
Career
Youth and College
Born in New Jersey, Ferrell was raised for most of his life in Fairfax Station, Virginia. During his time in Virginia, he played for several select youth teams in the Southwestern Youth Association and Annandael BGC setup. He attended Robinson Secondary School where he was a three-year varsity starter. In his senior year of high school, Ferrell joined the D.C. United Academy.
Upon graduating high school, Ferrell played college soccer his FreshMen year at Longwood University. In his freshmen year he appeared in every match, starting seven of the matches, eventually becoming a regular starter at the end of the season. After his freshmen year, he transferred out of Longwood, and briefly played with National Premier Soccer League side RVA FC.
Professional career
In August 2014, Ben Ferrell signed his first professional contract with Evergreen Diplomats. On August 30, 2014, he made his professional debut with the club.
