Greg Bracey
Greg Bracey is an American football player who plays Wide receiver. He attended the University of Missouri, where he majored in sociology, and played American football for the Missouri Tigers. Bracey was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent on the 28th April 2008.
College career
Greg Bracey played a total of 27 games in his college career but saw limited action in his first two years for the Tigers, mainly contributing as a Kick returner. However, the next two years he experienced more playing time as a wide receiver and posted 6 catches and 2 touchdowns. His first career catch was of the spectacular nature, as he caught a bomb on the fourth-play of the game against Oklahoma for a 46-yard gain that was ruled out of bounds - but replays showed he might not have actually stepped out, and it could have been a 70+-yard TD.
Pre-Draft Workouts
Bracey ran an official time of 4.37 in the 40 yard dash, although he was also timed at 4.32. This speed and experience as a track star at Missouri intrigued the Chargers to sign him as an undrafted free agent after the 2008 NFL Draft despite only six career catches as a Tiger.
