Gravati Shoes

Gravati, an Italian shoe company was founded in 1909.

Several types of constructions are available

  • Original Mocassin
  • Bologna
  • Blake
  • Goodyear
  • Golf

Various phases of these constructions can be synthesized in 10 main points:

 1. Designing and executing the styles
 2. All the leather for every style is hand-cut
 3. All the hand-cut pieces of each model's pattern are hemmed and sewn together
 4. The upper part of the model is then hand-mounted on the last
 5. The sole is cut from the half length of the leather
 6. The sole is sewn to the upper and is trimmed while on the last
 7. The heel that is applied to the sole is entirely leather
 8. The bottom of the sole is then highly polished
 9. The finishing, antiquating and polishing of every shoe is executed by hand

10. The shoes are finally wrapped in tissue paper, placed in labelled cardboard boxes
