Graham McLaren

Graham McLaren is a UK based theatre artist.

Born in Coatbridge, Scotland in 1970. McLaren trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and graduated in 1992. Since then he has created work ranging from totally improvised and devised work to classical texts. He has performed, designed, written, devised, taught, improvised, choreographed, programmed, directed and produced.

The following year he became the Associate Artist for the company and remained with them until Jan 2008 when he started creating work for the Toronto theatre company Necessary Angel, as an Associate Artist.

In 2008 McLaren directed and designed:

  • Moliere's The School For Wives for Theatre Babel.
  • Shakespeare's Hamlet for Necessary Angel.
