Go-Karts Plus

Go-Karts Plus is an action park in Williamsburg, Virginia. It is located near the Great Wolf Lodge, and is next to the Williamsburg Pottery Factory. Opened in 1989, it has been a popular destination for tourists visiting the area.

Rides and Attractions

Go-Karts Plus has 3 major tracks; the Figure-8 Track, the Euro Track, and the SUPER STOCK Kart Track. It also has a Rookie Track and the newly added Python Pit Roller Coaster1 for children who find themselves a little small for the bigger tracks. The Disk'o ride, added in 2005, is the parks first and only thrill ride. Go-Karts Plus also has a Bumper Boat pool, Bumper Cars, Mini-Golf, kiddie rides and an arcade.

Unlike Busch Gardens Europe and Water Country USA, Go-Karts Plus does not charge an admission fee or a parking fee. Instead, guests purchase individual or books of tickets and only pay for what they ride. A list of the attractions, their height requirements, and their ticket prices is located in front of the Ticket Booth.

The Disk'O

While trying to acquire the Disk'O, Go-Karts Plus ran into problems getting the ride approved by the county 2. They took their case to the county again in the fall of 2004, and found better luck 3.

The Williamsburg area is also home to two Anheuser-Busch parks: Busch Gardens Europe and Water Country USA. Neither of the three directly competes with each other, nor do they compete with the Historic Triangle of Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown.

While Busch Gardens Europe is known for their roller coasters and themed countries, Go-Karts Plus focuses primarily on what its name entails. The recent addition of their first thrill ride, The Disk’O, was intended to add another dimension to the park.
