Go Green Nova Team
The Go Green Nova Team is a student run ecological organization in Europe founded in the Republic of Macedonia. It was started by a student and a teacher. From then it grew to something much bigger and now with more than 100 members the Go Green Nova Team is one of the biggest student-run NGOs in Skopje.
The Team
Go Green! is a student run organization open to anyone interested in preserving the environment. Go Green's goal is to encourage members of our community to take an ACTIVE role in preservation by recycling more, littering less and using re-usable bags. The team's Birthday is on 15 December 2008.
Goals
Go Green's mission is to educate the community AbOUT the benefits of recycling (by taking a proactive role in recycling), energy preservation (by buying energy efficient light bulbs and turning off unneeded appliances), elimination of plastic bags (by buying reusable bags). Through those activities the GGNT hopes to raise environmental awareness, first and foremost among NOVA's student community, and positively influence the local community as well.
Activities
The GGNT have done activities in Skopje like: -Planting New Trees(not only in skopje) -Cleaning Riverbanks -Asking People to join -Starting a donation program
