Brightwoods School

Brightwoods School is located at Don Angel Street, Angeles Citicenter, Pandan, Angeles City, Philippines. It offers Pre-School, Grade School, and High School education. The school’s founder, Teacher Ana Maria Y. Zubiri, is principal.

History

Brightwoods School has its roots in one classroom in 1993 at the Villa Angelina site in Angeles City, when it was still the ABC Factory. Its initial offerings were Pre-Elementary Programs only.

In 1995, with the opening of Grade 1, the School changed its name to Brightwoods School and was registered with the then Department of Education, Culture, and Sports, and the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit organization.

The School has since set February 14, 1995 - the day it got its government permit to operate- as its official Foundation Day.

Brightwoods was relocated to its present site at Angeles Citicenter, Pandan, Angeles City and opened elementary grade levels. The school now offers complete Pre-School, Grade School, and High School courses and is recognized by the Department of Education.

Brightwoods school has won a number of academic and athletic events. Brightwoods is known for being champions in several dance competitions coached by Mr. Marvin Pasion and Mrs. Ditas Yap and their athletic events coached by Mr. Rommel Gonzales.

Academics

The Grade School and High School Departments follow the Department of Education guidelines on the Revised Basic Education Curriculum.
