Glasshouse (band)
Glasshouse are an Australian four-piece alternative rock band. The Brisbane based group consists of Dan James, Stew Riddle, Raven "Danger" Jones (his real name is Brendan Eyles)and Matt Wedmaier. They use instruments such as guitar, bass, and drums mixed with 3-part harmonies.
History
In 1997, PRATT and Riddle met whilst attending Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. They bonded over a mutual obsession with music and the desire to start a band. It was from here that Jones and Wedmaier joined the band, Wedmaier leaving his previous band Wildflower.
In 2003, they attended the Australian Music Business Conference in Sydney, where they met US based producer Roger Sommers. Subsequently following this, in July 2004 they began production with Sommers to record their EP, “Nothing Comes of Thinking” released via Modern Music in February 2005.
In 2006, they met up again with Sommers to record their first full-length album titled Restore Factory Settings on the Bonefinger label with MGM.
