Gizem Senel

Gizem Senel ;(born 14 August 1989) is a Turkish actress, director and singer/songwriter. She began her acting career in 1994 at the age of six. Her film credits include [...] Time, Lost At Sea, R.E.D. She graduated from the Istanbul Kultur University, Faculty of Art and Design - Cinema/TV Acting Dramatic Arts in 2010.

Senel has a soprano vocal range. Her style is lyric coloratura soprano is 3,5 octaves.

Early life

Senel was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She met with theatre in 1994 in a school play called ''Life Lesson’’ One of her teachers noticed her talent and signed her up for After school theatre courses in Istanbul She started to took parts in many Children's theatre Such as Water Fairy Magic Mirror and Rumpelstiltskin. Senel continued her acting passion in Elementary School, theatre plays like Destruction: All Over, A Marriage Proposal - Anton Chekhov, My Love is so Far Away, Lüküs Hayat - Cemal Reşit Rey Operetta, Shakespeare's Ashtray, Jane Eyre - Charlotte Brontë, Saint Overboard - Leslie Charteris, Prison, System Going Backwards! In 2004, when she was in high school, she also started to direct some of the plays that she had been in. Such as The Puzzle and The Secret Garden - Frances Hodgson Burnett Two of her notable plays and characters were Düdüklüde Kıymalı Bamya - Fazilet and William Shakespeare - Romeo and Juliet as Juliet Capulet
