Gainson Fan

Gainson Fan is an American author, epidemiologist, and former U.S. Army logistician. He is known for writing children’s literature and contemporary fiction.

Early life and career

Fan earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from York College in 2005. He later completed a Bachelor of Public Health from the American Military University in 2012, followed by a Master of Public Health in epidemiology in 2014. He earned a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in epidemiology from Capella University in 2017. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Barry University in 2024.

He served in the United States Army from 2005 to 2011 as a logistician. Following his military service, Fan worked as an infection control surgery specialist at Florida Hospital. Since 2014, he has worked as an epidemiologist in central Florida.

Fan is the CEO of OnePath Health Medical.
