FunkTion Films is an independent production label created in 2005. Founded By Joe Burwood of East London, the label has strong connections with the underground music scene.

Current projects include an independently released DVD Documentary called And Now We're Showing you grime due for release early 2008.

And Now We're Showing you grime

FunkTion's first release is the eagerly anticipated And Now We're Showing you grime. The documentary contains some of the Uk's biggest grime artists, dj's and music producers. In a statement Funktion claimed : " This documentary is a message to everyone with or without an interest in grime, Today's youth are criticized constantly, but there are positives, everyones moving, working and keeping focused. You Just need to recognize!"

History

FunkTion began in 2005, when Founder Burwood discovered his media talent. After working in London's west end and strong production industry he began individual projects whilst still in school.

Junior later joined and began creating a team. Now FunkTion's crew has a six person force.

FunkTIon Sounds

After The Release of their first DVD, FunkTion plan to create a sister label in 2008. FunkTion sounds will be working on signing artist and creating mixtapes.
