Fred C. Andersen Scout Camp
Fred C. Andersen Scout Camp is a Boy Scouts of America camp located on the bluffs of the St. Croix River in Wisconsin.
Facilities
Fred C. Andersen Scout Camp owns many cabins including:
Good Medicine Cabin
A well-equipped cabin with a full kitchen, a 2nd floor overlooking the ground level, and has 32 bunks. It also has running water and a fire place. It is also the oldest cabin at the camp.
Valley View Lodge
Valley View Lodge is also know as the "Farm Shelter". It is the newest cabin at Fred C. The Cabin is divided in half. Half the cabin has two bedrooms with bunk space for an electric stove and eating area. The other half has 12 beds, an electric stove and an eating area.
Randall Shelter, Van Krevelen Shelter and Shelters 1, 2, & 3
All the shelters are all open as one room, and have 3 picnic tables and benches. Gas hot plates are at one end, and the eating a sleeping area is on the other side. They can be heated with wood or gas. Shelters 1, 2, and 3 are handicap accessible, but the Randall and Van Krevelen shelters are not.
Adirondacks 1-7
These cabins are just right for patrols, they are not large enough for troop though. Each cabin has room to sleep 8 people in bunk beds, picnic table, outside cooking and gas heating. Adirondacks 1-6 are on the lower level, and 7 is on the upper level of camp.
Peterson Cabin 1 & 2
Each cabin has a central eating/meeting area, kitchen w/stove and refrigerator. Peterson 1 has sleeping space for 20 in one bedroom and a loft. Peterson 2 has sleeping space for 20 in two bedrooms. The cabins are not handicap accessible.
Wayawa Lodge
It is also known as the Training Building. Wayawa Lodge is a multi-purpose training center with two large meeting rooms, toilets, showers, kitchen, and dining facilities. The north meeting room may double as sleeping area. It is great for large groups, and good for planning your troop calendar.
