The company was founded in 2019 in Los Angeles by Will Baumann, Eli Valentin, and Walker Williams; Williams previously co-founded Teespring. In November 2021, Fourthwall raised $17 million in funding from investors including Alexis Ohanian and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
