FMS Udaipur
Faculty of Management Studies, Udaipur, usually abbreviated FMS Udaipur, was founded in 1982. FMS Udaipur has been consistently ranked among top three business schools in Rajasthan. FMS Udaipur comes under the aegis of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur. The Faculty was initially started at the campus of CCMS (Commerce College, MLSU, but now it has its own huge campus with a rich library and other necessary infrastructure. The past decades have witnessed a significant growth in the nature and number of programmes offered at the FMS. It is one of the oldest business schools in Rajasthan and has a strong alumni network.
Courses
The school has good reputation for its marketing and finance programmes. It is situated in the Campus of the MLSU. The various programmes offered by FMS are
- MBA (Full Time) - The intake of this programme for 2009 is 60 participants.
- MBA-Financial Service Management (Full Time) - This programme started in 2005 has 51+9 seats.
- Master in Tourism Management (Full Time) - This programme has 30+3 seats.
- Doctoral Programmes which lead to a Ph.D. by MLSU
Admissions
The school has historically been the selective business school in the state. The admission is through the RMAT conducted in June-July every year.
