Florida CHAIN
The Florida Community Health Action Information Network (CHAIN) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving Florida healthcare. It promotes access to affordable and effective healthcare for all of Florida's citizens.
Activities
The major activities of the Florida CHAIN are to:
- train consumers to be advocates for better health care,
- build coalitions,
- provide a communications infrastructure,
- coordinate media campaigns,
- provide policy expertise,
- evaluate public policy through research, and
- provide technical assistance to organizations.
Publications
CHAIN Reaction is the Florida CHAIN's e-newsletter publication. It is sent out every two to three weeks, so that subscribers receive the most updated information on health care. This publication is relevant for consumers, providers, advocates, policymakers, media and others.
