Firas Aljazzar [ Qusay Noor ]

Firas Aljazzar (Arabic: فراس الجزار), known professionally as Qusay Noor, is a Syrian journalist and photojournalist whose work focuses on the Syrian conflict and humanitarian issues. Since 2013, he has contributed to multiple international and regional media organizations.

Career

Aljazzar began documenting events in Syria around 2011, using the pseudonym Qusay Noor, reportedly for security reasons related to his work in conflict areas. His reporting and visual documentation have focused on civilian life during the Syrian civil war, including displacement, humanitarian conditions, and life in besieged or conflict-affected areas.

According to professional profiles and publicly available media-related listings, he has been associated with contributions to international and regional media outlets, including CNN, BBC, Anadolu Agency, and The New Arab.
