Festivalul Plai
Festivalul Plai (English: Plai Festival) is a music festival taking place annually in Timişoara, Romania. The festival is hosted by Muzeul Satului Bănăţean, an outdoors ethnographic museum. Besides music, the festival promotes art and multiculturalism. Other activities (workshops) include: theatre, film projections, painting, sculpture, photography, engraving, dance, juggling, traditional arts and crafts (pottery, weaving, wood carving etc), qigong, tai chi, reading etc.
Partners of the festival are foreign cultural centers (French, German, Polish, Czech etc), embassies (Peru, Israel, Portugal etc) and local NGOs.
