Fergusson family (Sierra Leone)

The Fergusson family is a prominent Krio family of West Indian descent. The patriarch of the family was William Fergusson. William Fergusson was a mulatto from the West Indies and he was an excellent doctor in the colony and was once governor of Sierra Leone. Fergusson was also in charge of the government hospitals and villagers in Kissy, Sierra Leone.
