History
Formation & Tinderbox Demo (2006-2007)
After moving to Seattle from Redding, CA, Mike Davidson and Joe Koster soon met up with Mike Shoemaker and Clayton Marquiss to form the original lineup. The original lineup recorded one demo together, the Tinderbox Demo, with a limited pressing.
Self Titled Demo & Tour (2008-2009)
Mike Shoemaker left the band in the summer of 2008, feeling he needed more time to devote to his newly born child. Si Katara was added to the lineup as the new bass player shortly after. In December of 2008, Falling Blind released the Self Titled demo. The music has seen radio rotation on stations including KISW in Seattle, KFNK in Tacoma, and KUFO in Portland. Falling Blind toured in the summer of 2009 to support the Self Titled demo.
In review of the album, Wildy's World said "Falling Blind is sure to find fans across the hard rock spectrum. Guitarist Davidson is a special find, with a style that could become distinctive and even signature over time." According to Punk Globe, "this is the band's debut release and I am sure will be hearing more from this Seattle band.". Basement Bar referred to Falling Blind as "a straight ahead rock band with a talented vocalist. Clayton is a talented singer and the band is good at what they do. I have a feeling we'll be hearing more from them again in the future."
Comets (2010)
Falling Blind is in the process of releasing their debut album, entitled "Comets", expected to be released in late summer or early fall.
