EWU Natural Science Club
The EWU NATURAL Science Club was established in 2004 by faculty and students of the Department Of Physics, Mathematics and Statistics at East West University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It aims to stimulate interest in the natural sciences among students of the university. The club organises seminars and workshops on science and technology-related topics, with keynote speakers from the faculty or outside the university, as well as publishing journals and promoting competitions for students.

Club Activities (Summer 2007)
A series of workshops on the MATLABsoftware arranged by Dr. Khairul Alam & moderator Arup Kumar Sinha.
The First Mathematics Competition 2007. Seventy-three students from different departments took part in a competition opened by Dr. A S A Noor, the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering. The prizewinners were: Mahfuz Alam & Joseph Armand baroi (first prize), Nareen Hafiz (second prize) and Safi Md. Julker Nien Chowdhury (third prize).
As a celebration of three years of the club, a number of events took place in the university auditorium. Dr. M Shamsher Ali, the Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University gave the keynote speech. A quiz was held for students, and the winners were:
