EV Hive

EV Hive is a coworking space based in Indonesia, providing flexible workspace, business services and networking for entrepreneurs and startups. EV Hive counts many venture capital funds among its investors, including East Ventures, Sinar Mas Digital Ventures (SMDV), Insignia Ventures, Intudo Ventures and Jacumen Investments.

Up to November 2017, EV Hive has nine locations spread across Jakarta, Tangerang and Medan. On November 19, 2017, EV Hive officially announced a merger with Clapham Collective, a coworking space in Medan, as well as opening the first EV Hive branch in Medan.

History

EV Hive was founded on 2015 where it was originally meant to be created for East Venture’s portfolio to work at. In mid-2016, EV Hive was finally opened for public.

On 15 May 2017, EV Hive announced the acquisition of pre-series A funding of USD 0.8 million as well as the appointment of Carlson Lau as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jason Lee as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Ethan Choi as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

In September 2017, EV Hive received another injection of funds from Insignia Venture Partners and other investors such as Intudo Ventures, East Ventures and SMDV for USD 3.5 million.
