One of the most valuable assets of an organization is data which is registered in various systems. For optimal storage use, data should be stored outside application databases. In this way historic data remains available when an application is stopped or migrated. Enterprise Memory is a new datawarehouse concept that stores data like it was originally registered in the past in its own perspective(like a video tape). No mutations are made while the data is stored in the EM.

In an Enterprise Memory the data transformation process is fundamentally different from other datawarehouses as it uses Extraction Load Transformation(ELT) rather than Extraction Transformation and then Load (ETL). The crucial difference is that in this way context can be changed at all times, also in retrospect.

The Enterpise Memory is thus by definition future proof.

Information is available in a quick and efficient way for a broad range of stakeholders in your organization, because the context is modelled in the representation layer of the EM. Compliance is secured in the EM environment. In EM information is modelled conform Lean Data Vault Modeling philosophy which assures structured and source independent logical storage of your information.
