Emrah Cakin

Mutlu Emrah Cakin (born December 12, 1972) is a Turkish illustrator, tattoo and former graffiti artist, who graduated from Fine Arts Academy as industrial designer. In 2001, he designed the disposable acrylonitrile butadiene polymer plastic bars and grips which sterilized with ethylene oxide gas and he brings in 0,30 micron Japanese acupuncture needles to the tattooing world, whose use are compulsory in Australia and some states in the USA today thus enabling tattoo fans to have their tattoos under more hygienic conditions. Nowadays he is working on intradermal treatment of demodex folliculorum face myte.

He is a member of the Alliance of Professional Tattoo Artists (ATAT). His studio, named Red Cat Tattoo Factory, was founded in 1995 in Bebek, Istanbul. Red Cat Tattoo Factory has over 12.000 clients domestically and abroad so far and over 20.000 registered tattoos in Turkey.
