Emily Friendship

Emily Friendship is a British singer, songwriter and composer. Born in London on January 15, 1979, Emily is the daughter of John and Wendy Friendship. Age 19, Friendship was offered a place in the cast of Cameron Mackintosh’s Phantom of the Opera. Friendship’s career as a songwriter and composer began with the release of "You’re the Kinda Man" on Sarah Connor’s Gold selling album ‘'Naughty but Nice’'. Following it’s success, Friendship went on to co-write and record with the likes of Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams, ), Eg White (Will Young, Joss Stone), Johnny Douglas (George Michael, Kylie Minogue), Jamie Hartman (Will Young) and Jonathen Shorten (Joss Stone).

In 2004 Friendship formed a writing partnership with Grammy winner and Oscar nominated writer, Rod Temperton.

Following her success as a writer, Friendship moved into recording. Her debut as a recording artist came in the form of a feature on Nate James’ Kingdom Falls album, released July 2007.

Friendship is currently in Los Angeles writing and composing for various Television and Motion Pictures and working on her debut solo album.
