Emeka Okonkwo (Emoney)

Emeka Okonkwo (Born March 1, 1982 in Lagos State, Western Nigeria) is a businessman.. He controls two major successful businesses in the entertainment and maritime industries and is a philanthropist.

Early life and family

Emeka Okonkwo was born on the 18 of February, 1982 in Lagos State, Western Nigeria, into the family of Mr and Mrs Daniel Okonkwo, with three siblings. He studied Business Administration at the University of Lagos and is currently married with 3 children.

Business Career

Emeka Okonkwo is the Executive Director of EMY CARGO AND SHIPPING SERVICES NIG LTD (Maritime Services). In 2009 while on his way back from his Traditional Marriage, he received a phone call that his company has been awarded a contract worth 2 Million Dollars. This was a major kick off point of his success in his career.

He is also the Executive Director of Five Start Music Group (a recording label) with his younger brother, Kingsley Okonkwo (popularly known as Kcee) signed under the label.

Philanthropy

Emeka Okonkwo has made several donations to the Nigerian entertainment industry. He is known for his kind-hearted nature. At the end of every year. He organizes a free-admission event in Lagos, Nigeria featuring most of the A-list musicians from Nigeria and Africa. Where he shares bags of Rice, Tin Tomatoes, and other goodies to make people happy.
