Egg Quarters
Egg Quarters is Dr. Eggman's pyramid base in the video game Sonic Adventure 2. It is not known if its actual name is Egg Quarters, as it is only referred to as "Eggman's base" in the game.
Parts
Egg Quarters makes up several Action Stages in the game, such as:
- Death Chamber, the core of the pyramid, containing an energy reactor. Knuckles fights King boom Boo here.
- Pyramid Cave, the long road from the entrance of the pyramid to the core.
- Hidden Base, the entrance to the pyramid.
- Sand Ocean, the desert outside the pyramid.
- Egg Quarters, an area with various rooms and corridors.
It is visited by Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, Doctor Eggman and Rouge the Bat. Some other parts are also seen, but are not Action Stages.
- Golem's Cave, the hall where Sonic and Eggman fight the Egg Golem.
- Eggman's Computer, a computer used by Eggman to watch the news and teleport to the Space Colony ARK.
- Space Shuttle, a space shuttle situated in the middle of the pyramid.
Bosses
Egg Quarters also contains two bosses: King Boom Boo (the king of all ghosts) and the Egg Golem (a statue that attacks Sonic and Eggman).
Once Sonic and co. board the space shuttle, Egg Quarters is never heard from again. However, at the beginning of Team Dark's game in Sonic Heroes Rouge enters one of Eggman's now abandoned bases looking for treasure (but finding Shadow and Omega instead). This base is believed by some to be Egg Quarters.
