EDGE is a rock band best known for their passionate writings and high energy performances.
Career
Formed in 1997 By Guitarist Nolan J. Vander Haagen and Drummer Alex Serrano. As teenagers their sound was cultivated by rage and youth ignorance. Within a few years and only a few shows Edge had released their first album "Criticize." Edge continued playing shows all around the Houston area even to find themselves in and around other cities within Texas. During those times, Edge had participated and won in numerous local and national competitions. The band received third place in a nationwide Big Break Music Festival held in Grand Junction, Colorado in November of 2000. In 2001 Carl Beatty had joined the line up to add even more aggression and passion to the sound. In 2003, the boys went back into the studio to record their second full length album entitled "As She Runs." With a successful second album the boys took a short break to endure in other musical projects. They regrouped in 2004 only to add their fourth member Tommy Vanos. Vanos help redirect Edge to the heart of rock music and with his compassion the band of brothers was finally complete. In 2006 Edge released the album "Fight", which endures their maturity and professionalism that has grown to new heights over the years. Edge has played with many bands such as Fuel, Hoobastank, Flyleaf, Earshot, Pressure 4-5, Pushmonkey, Blue October and the Hunger; just to name a few. The most recent project was an acoustic album named "Revision", which included redefined sounds of older Edge songs. All of the albums are written and produced by Edge. In 2007, Edge added Caveh Masum, an eccentric guitarist with persian decedents, to the line up. For more info visit The Official Edge Website
