Eddie Gallagher (chef)

Eddie Gallagher (born March 9, 1966), professionally known as Chef Eddie G, is an American chef, restaurateur, television host, and author. He is known for his work in hospitality, culinary media, and large-scale event catering, including appearances connected with major sporting events in the United States.

Early life and education

Gallagher was born in Manhattan, New York City, and is of Irish and German ancestry. He developed an interest in cooking during his youth through time spent in the family kitchen. He later attended Johnson & Wales University, where he studied culinary arts, business management, and resort management.

Career

During his culinary career, Gallagher has worked in restaurants, hotels, and catering operations in the United States and internationally. His work has included restaurant openings, menu development, consulting, and hospitality management.
