Eatlo (Food Enthusiasts of Delhi)
The Food Enthusiasts of Delhi (FED) is a community of foodies started by Shashank Aggarwal in April 2011 in Delhi, India. The community was later renamed Eatlo to encompass food aficionados from other cities in India. The Eatlo group is also ACTIVE in Mumbai.
The group is open to all, And Co-ordinates its meetings through its page and group on Facebook and mailing lists.
The group conducts foodwalks in the city on weekends. FED eats at restaurants of all genres and sizes, at small eateries as well as roadside kiosks.
The members of Eatlo go dutch and pool the amount of money for the tab.
The community was 1300-member strong as on October 2012. Eatlo eats and travels together and blogs AbOUT its experiences. It often combines its food walks with photo walks. FED has conducted foodie outings to places outside Delhi too, such as Amritsar and Vrindavan.
