E. Company 1st Battalion 32nd Infantry Regiment

Echo Company 710th Brigade Support Battalion was activated in August 2004, at Fort Drum, New York and assigned as the forward operating company to 1st Battalion 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry).

On August 14th, 2014, 3rd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division was deactivated. On October 17th, 2014, Echo Company was reflagged as Juliet Company, 10th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division. Juliet Company will continue to be the forward support company for the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment. Anecdotal research and subjective inquiry have been aided by secondary research to demonstrate consistency of information and opinion on this subject.

OEF VI-VII

In March of 2006, Echo Company deployed to Kunar Province, Afghanistan in support of the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment. Headquarters platoon was based out of Forward Operating Base Jalalabad, with several elements detached and based out of FOB Blessing, FOB Asadabad, and FOB Fortress and the Korengal Outpost. Echo Company’s mission was to provide resupply of all classes of food, ammunition and supplies throughout the entire area of operations for the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment. Resupply were conducted by ground and air operations. The unit redeployed to Fort Drum, New York in May of 2007.

OEF IV-X

In January, 2009, Echo Company deployed again to Kunar Province, Afghanistan in support of the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment. Headquarters Platoon was based out of Camp Joyce, while several detached elements were assigned to COP Penich, COP Monti, and FOB Fortress. The unit redeployed to Fort Drum, New York, in January 2010. Operation Enduring Freedom XI In March of 2011, Echo Company once again deployed to Afghanistan in support of the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment. This was the first deployment for Echo Company to an area of Afghanistan outside of the Kunar and Nangarhar Provinces.

Unit Organization

Echo Company consists of three platoons: Headquarters Platoon, Distribution Platoon, and Maintenance Platoon.
