Dublin Bus Route 43

Dublin Bus Route 43 is a bus route in Dublin, Ireland, that runs from Eden Quay, in Dublin city centre, to Swords Business Park in the town of Swords. It is operated by Dublin Bus and is the main bus route serving the residential and business areas on the eastern side of Swords. It operates from Monday to Sunday and has a frequency of approximetely every 60 minutes in each direction. It shares the Eden Quay to Kinsealy section of its route with the 42, which provides extra services between 43 services.

Route

Route 43 operates approximately every 60 minutes from Eden Quay in Dublin City Centre to Swords Business Park in the town of Swords. It runs along the Malahide Quality Bus Corridor, via Beresford Place, Amiens Street, North Strand Road, Annesley Bridge Road, Fairview, Marino Mart, Malahide Road, Kinsealy, Feltrim Road, Montgorry Way, Drynam Road, Malahide Road, Swords Main Street, North Street, Seatown West, Swords By-pass and Mantua Road, utillising the R107 road for a large portion of its journey.

Fares

To determine fare prices routes are divided into different fare stages. Route 43 is divided into 24 different stages. The fare charged depends on how many stages travelled. Cash fares must be paid in coins in the exact amount. Passengers can avail of cheaper fares by using a prepaid "Leapcard", which can be purchased and topped up at Payzone outlets.
