Dragon linux
DragonLinux was a Slackware based Linux distribution which ran on FAT32. Dragon Linux came in two flavors, a full version for those people who had large hard disks and adequate power to run X-windows and a lite version which was console based aimed at users who either did not have adequate hardware to run the full X-windows version, or did not wish to use X-windows.
The last version of dragon Linux was released in 2004.
Loopback Filesystem
DragonLinux used the loopback filesystem. A loopback filesystem runs from a directory on a windows drive which is treated as a partition on another filesystem. This allowed the person who installed DragonLinux a chance to try Linux without the need to repartition or reformat their hard drive.
NTFS And DragonLinux
The NTFS filesystem is not compatible with the loopback filesystem used in DragonLinux as such it will not function on WindowsNT,Windows 2000,Windows XP,Windows 2003 or Windows Vista.
There are no plans to support these Operating Systems in the future.
