New Dok-Apo Health Products Inc. also known as Dok-Apo is a food supplement manufacturing company that sells alternative medicines, weight management capsules, and beauty-care products. The company was founded in 2007, and it employs hundred people nationwide. Dok-Apo reported net sales of PHP200,000 (Two hundred thousand) in 2013, an 75% increase over 2012, and the net income of ₱82,000 (Eighty-two thousand pesos), a 28% increase over 2012. Its office is located in Bacoor, Cavite.
The company distributes its products in over 100 locations in the Philippines (as of January 2014) through a network of hundred independent distributors nationwide, some of whom earn profit on product sales and additional commission from a multi-level marketing (MLM) compensation structure.
The company's slogan, "Prevetion is Better than Cure," became a marketing theme for distributors, featuring heavily on badges, flyers, and posters. Early methods to recruit distributors includes seminars, which would feature distributors giving health and healing testimonials on the Dok-Apo products and a keynote address by Mr. Dicen. By 2008 Dok-Apo had reached ₱1.2 hundred thousand in sales and had been popular in many areas in Luzon.
