Dj roc
DJ ROC (born Brian Christopher Harris in Rochester, New York) is an African American hip hop DJ.
In 1997, DJ ROC joined WRUB, SUNY at Buffalo's College Radio station, starting his DJ career at the age of 20. He eventually garnered widespread attention in Rochester and started his own company, ROC City Entertainment, and also joined 89.7 FM, WITR, The Rochester Institute of Technology's (RIT) college radio station, in 1998. 1998 is also the year he began to produce mixtapes. In 2004, DJ ROC was hired by his hometown commercial radio station, 103.9 FM, WDKX, where he hosted the Saturday night show, "Da Joint" in addition to creating and producing the Old School Sunday Mixshow entitled, "The Throwback at 3."
Recently DJ ROC has been busy working with his very own radio mix show, 'Syndicate Radio' with his DJ partner, DJ Shawn Touch.
