DJ Etrayn

DJ Etrayn (born December 22), formally known as Eddie Traynor, is an American DJ, radio host, and entrepreneur based in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a DJ, Etrayn has performed across 48 states with artists such as Usher, J. Cole, Big Sean, Mike Posner, and Machine Gun Kelly. He is the official DJ of recording artist D-Why, and he has performed as a part of Ohio University's 8, 9, and 10 Fests, Maxim's Super Bowl party in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Usher's Super Bowl party in Dallas, Texas. Etrayn signed with Self Diploma in 2010, who also represents Mac Miller's official DJ, DJ Clockwork.

As a radio host, DJ Etrayn showcased his mixes with 101.1 The Wiz WIZF in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Early life

Etrayn was born on December 22 in Ross, Ohio to parents Sharon and Danny Traynor. He has two siblings, Kelly and Danny Traynor. Etrayn grew up playing sports year round, and graduated from Ross High School in 2006 where he lettered in baseball. He attended Miami University Hamilton from 2006 to 2007 where he played baseball, and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College from 2007 to 2009. It was shortly after college, in late 2010 that Etrayn picked up DJ'ing. He had observed his father Danny, who played in bands throughout Etrayn's childhood, and was inspired by DJ Jazzy Jeff. He also had friends help him to hone his skills and show him the ropes. In late 2010, Etrayn signed with Self Diploma, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a DJ.

Radio career

Etrayn got his start in radio with Cincinnati's 101.1 The Wiz, where he was an on air mixer and personality from 2012 to 2014.

DJ career

As a DJ, Etrayn has performed at Ohio University's 8, 9, and 10 Fests, Maxim's Super Bowl Party, Usher's Super Bowl Party, Young Money's Super Bowl Party in Indianapolis, at the Cincinnati leg of Jay-Z and Beyonce's on the Run Tour, and he is also the exclusive DJ for recording artist D-Why. In addition, Etrayn has DJ'd for the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bearcats.

Etrayn has also DJ'd corporate/charity events including fashion shows for Saks Fifth Avenue, University of Cincinnati's DAAP Program, and the JDRF Foundation.

Other notable artists Etrayn has worked with include Big K.R.I.T., Project Pat, Talib Kweli, Timeflies, 3LAU, and Mike Repole (President of Vitamin Water).
