Divitas networks
DiVitas Networks is a fixed mobile convergence (FMC) startup company based in Mountain View, California. It was founded in April, 2005 by Vivek Khuller and Dickson Chan and shipped the industry's first mobile to mobile convergence (MMC) product in April, 2007. It is financially backed by venture capital firms such as Clearstone Venture Partners and Menlo Ventures.
The start up manufactures and sells a suite of mobile handset software clients and mobility servers designed for enterprise customers.
Products
- Mobile Convergence Client (MCC) is an application that is installed on a dual-mode mobile handset (one that employs both WiFi and cellular technology)
- Mobile Convergence Appliance (MCA) is a server that is connected to an enterprise's PBX and employs the MCC to enable connections between the cellular signal and the WiFi signal, facilitating VoWLAN calls using a cellular phone.
