Devastator (Ratchet and Clank)

Devastator is the name of a rocket launcher in Ratchet & Clank, a videogame created by Insomniac games. It carries 20 shots, and its ammunition cases resemble rockets.

Look

The Devastator is typically bazooka-shaped, and is a dark green colour. The front most part is slightly wider then the rest of it. Atop it, it has a small red + shaped aimer. But the aimer is severely inacurrate .

Effect

When targeting an enemy, a red crosshair appears on the enemy. When it is fired, the rocket flies towards the target, homing if the enemy moves, but if it misses again, it flies wayward. It is a near-essential gun to complete the game- with one level requiring it or the visibomb to complete that level, as well as it being a powerful weapon. It dispatches most enemies in one to three shots. The strongest enemy (dropship) is the only non-boss enemy that requires 4 shots. Its only real disadvantage is the amount of ammuntition that it can carry.
