Franchise history

Jason Curtis established the Detroit Ravens football program in July of 2004 to give young men a chance to continue their playing career in football after high school or college. Additionally, our organization strives to serve as role models for the youth in our community. The Ravens inaugural season began in the summer of 2005 where the team finished 6-6 in the Ohio Valley football league. After missing the league playoffs the ravens entered the Mid-States' Tournament. The Ravens captured the Mid-States crown in their first year as a team In 2006 the Ravens returned to the OVFL with great optimism and enthusiasm. In 2006 the Raven’s season endured some great highs and lows. The ravens defeated the Detroit Seminoles a feet that had never been done by a team in the Detroit area. The Ravens held the #2 ranking in the Midwest through the remainder of the season. However the ravens fell short of their final goal of an OVFL championship to the eventual league champion Toledo Seminoles in a 9-7 heart breaker.
