Deb Weidenhamer leads the team of professional auctioneers, appraisers and support personnel that has made Auction Systems quite the success. Deb has sold airplanes for $12.2 million dollars, riding saddles for $175,000 and lightbulbs for $.50. Her vast range of experience from selling fine art to real property has proved a success for many organizations. Deb is also an appraiser with specialties in Merger/Acquisition valuation of small to medium sized companies, heavy equipment appraisals and is considered one of the country's leading firearms appraisers. Deb writes a monthly, nationally syndicated column for Auction World on ethics in the auction industry. Her memberships include the National Auctioneers Association, a past officer and standing board member of the Arizona Auctioneers Association and a Certified Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers.
Before starting Auction Systems, Deb worked for a number of years as a small business turn-around consultant. She assisted many small and medium-sized businesses but really longed to start her own firm. Deb became interested in auctions after she met an elderly auctioneer and began attending his auctions. Research indicated the typical auction firm was family-owned and managed. Deb felt the auction industry was on the verge of transforming from an industry of family-owned businesses to professionally run corporations. Deb saw an excellent business opportunity and launched Auction Systems.

In 2004, she received the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Small Business Owner of the Year Award.
As a Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year award Recipient, Deb Weidenhamer has "raised the standard" of auction companies throughout the auction industry in the Southwest. To ensure the higher standards of the auction industry are propagated throughout the state, Deb Weidenhamer was appointed as the only state legislative lobbyist for the Arizona State Auctioneers Association. This appointment has allowed Auction Systems to assist in forming laws that protect the public and ensure higher ethical standards from all Arizona auctioneers.
