David Elboth

David Elboth is an Norwegian software freedom activist, and computer programmer, with a particular interest in Open Source, Linux and Unix. He studied natural sciences at the University of Oslo, resulting in a Cand.scient (1984). Presently he works as main IT architect at the BBS 1. Many of his papers have focused on Open Source, Linux and Unix. Elboth is the author behind over 500 articles and 8 books. He is also coauthor on 3 books. His most known book, The Linux Book is meant for a general IT audience.
