Daniella Atim

Daniella Atim (born November 13, 1985) is a Ugandan national of mixed Italian and Acholi descent. She was born in Uganda to an Italian father, John Scalabrini, and an Acholi mother. She is the former wife to Joseph Mayanja, also known as Jose Chameleone, a Ugandan musician.

Early life and family

Daniella Atim's father, John Scalabrini, was born in Italy in 1934 and he migrated to Uganda in 1964, where he worked as a missionary and supported local charitable activities. Her mother is from the Acholi tribe in Northern Uganda. Daniella met her former husband husband, Joseph Mayanja, also known as Jose Chameleone, in 2003. The couple have five children together. However, Daniella is not the mother of Chameleone's first child, Ayla Mayanja, who was born to a Belgian woman.

Personal life

In 2018, Daniella filed for divorce from Jose Chameleone, citing physical abuse and cruelty. However, she later withdrew the case and the couple reconciled. Currently, Daniella lives in the United States with her children, who are pursuing their studies there. Jose Chameleon continues to reside in Uganda, where he is still active in his music career.
