Curtis Aspden
Curtis Aspden (born November 16 1987 in Blackburn) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Boston United, on loan from Hull City.
Aspden is yet to make a first team appearance for Hull, though he has featured on the bench as an unused substitute. He spent time on loan at Scarborough at the start of the 2006-07 season, before signing for Harrogate Town on a season-long loan in June 2007. He was however recalled to Hull to provide cover during the busy Christmas period, following which he joined Boston United on loan.
Aspden came to Hull City after being released by Burnley. In the first season of his two year apprenticeship at Hull he suffered a career-threatening injury to his cruciate and medial ligaments in a reserve game against Bradford. However, though the injury ruled him out for 12 months, he did recover and went on to earn a professional contract with the club.
