Cruise Whitsundays provides day cruises to Hamilton Island Daydream Island, Long Island (Whitsunday Islands), Great Barrier Reef, sailing adventures to Whitehaven Beach, and an island resort connections service.
Cruise Whitsundays is part of Marine Tourism Holdings who have been involved in marine tourism operations in New Zealand and Fiji for over 20 years. The company has collectively won a number of awards and accolades for the quality of their operations and service.
Eco-Tourism
At Knuckle Reef Pontoon, Cruise Whitsundays ensure ongoing monitoring of reef health and biodiversity at their site, a ‘no touching’ policy with regards to all marine life and all chemicals used are biodegradable and kept to an absolute minimum. Scuba divers carry out a daily ‘litter patrol’ and all sewerage and waste is carried back to the mainland and pumped into the town treatment system.
Resort Connections
Cruise Whitsundays operates 'Resort Connections' an island resort transfer service in the Whitsunday Islands. Three modern, purpose-built ferries transfer passengers directly to and from island resorts.
This service connects Hamilton Island Airport to Daydream Island, Airlie Beach and Long Island. This service also connects Whitsunday Coast Airport to Daydream Island and Long Island.
Ferries also operate between Airlie Beach (Abel Point Marina or Shute Harbour) and Daydream Island, Long Island and both Hamilton Island and Whitsunday Coast airports.
