Colorado Creed
Founded in 2004. The Creed is the University of Colorado's Statement of values:
Colorado Creed says:
Colorado Creed
As a member of the Boulder community and the University of Colorado, I Agree to:
ACT with HONOR, INTEGRITY and ACCOUNTABILITY in my interactions with students, faculty, staff and neighbors.
RESPECT the rights of others and ACCEPT our differences.
CONTRIBUTE to the greater good of this community.
I will strive to uphold these principles in all aspects of my collegiate experience and beyond.
The Creed was founded by a group of students who worked hard in bringing out the best of the University of Colorado.
The Creed has plaques on prominent buildings all over campus stating its entirety. Additionally, one will find stones in walkways with one of the seven words reminding students of their actions as they walk to and from class.
The Creed is a perfect example of student leaders taking initiative and becoming leaders at an early age.
