Christos Mastoras

Chris Mastoras is a Greek musician, famous for being the lead singer of the Greek pop-rock band Melisses.

Early Years

1 He was born in a village called Bodino Dropolis located in Northern Epirus and lived there until he was two years old. At that age Chris was diagnosed as having a type of leukaemia and was immediately transported to Athens the capital of Greece. He didn't have any red blood cells. The doctors believed that only a wonder could save him as he reportedly said. To the announcement of such news his father rushed to a genious doctor that lived in the near village of his old neighbourhood. His father had heard that he had cured many people, so a visit would be worth his time. After the genious doctor learnt AbOUT Chris' problem he gave to his father a container with herbs that were supposed to cure him. Indeed after a week of secretly herb intake, Chris' face started turning red again. The doctors believed that a miracle had happened. His family never told them about the curative powers of the herbs.

As a member of the group band Melisses they have published together 4 CDs:

  • "Mystiko" their first pop CD published on 1st April 2009, containing 12 songs. 2
  • "I Moni Epilogi" another pop CD published on 20th December 2013, containing 10 songs 3
  • "Akou" a CD that belongs to the pop genre and was published on 7th March 2014 and contains 11 songs 4
  • "De me niazei" their latest pop CD that was published on 15th July 2015 and contains 4 songs. 5

Chris Mastoras has also collaborated with various artists and created songs without his band. Some of them are

  • 6"Heaven" a song where Chris collaborated with the Greek group House Twins and was bublished on 3rd December 2012
  • "Stand by my now" a song created by Chris Mastoras and the Greek group Playmen and published on 7th December 2015
  • "Don't let me down" a song that came up after the collaboration of Cammora and Chris Mastoras and was published on 6th February 2016.
