Christophe Degraeve

Christophe Degraeve was born in 1976 in Belgium, and grew up in the small town of Le Roeulx.

Early in his life, he was already computer minded.
His first computer experience was related to the Commodore 64, the VIC20 and the Amiga.

At the age of 17, he decided to ask his early majority.
2 years later, he begins a degree in information systems.
The course content did not match his expectations and he decided to leave school.

For his first IT job, Christophe was hired by a company named Datrontech (part of the Datrontech group).
The main business of Datrontech was to sale computer parts (Kingston memory, Modems,...)
He was IT engineer for the Belgium division of Datrontech.

In 1995, Christophe worked for European Telecom (RSL COM group).
He had three positions in that company: IT software engineer, IT team supervisor and IT manager.

In 2000, he worked as IT manager for another telecom company named Western Telecom.

In March 2000, he left Western Telecom and created his own company: Underside.

In 2004, Christophe created a new kind of anti-spam: GREY.

Christophe currently makes his home in Belgium, and works as CEO for Underside.
He is a Unix/Apple machine aficionado and works on a few personal projects like J.A.D.E. (Artificial intelligence).
